How to turn your best personality trait into a beneficial skill

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” -Dr. Seuss

I have never been known to keep my cool.
Not that I am a nut case and fly off the handle all the time, but I do believe what I believe.
Black or white.
I am as passionate as they come.

So please.  Don't get me started on politics.
Don't get me started on how the Moms Club should be run.  (LOL!)
And for your own sake, don't get me started on what I would do if I ruled the world.

Boy - I tell you - it would be fun!

That said.
When I was younger, I would fly off the handle and argue for arguments sake.
Everything to me is black or white.  I can be convinced of gray area, sure, but to start it's black or white.
Right or wrong.  Good or bad.
I am a softy so I can be swayed so I remain open minded.  But immediately, I have an opinion and a strong one at that.

As I am growing up over here... I am learning to use this passion as a skill.
A skill for learning, improvement and growth for myself and everyone around me.
(Here comes Mama Bear.)

I have learned to use my passion, slowly, patiently, methodically but still as powerfully.
Just as one would a connector, an organizer, heck - a methodical baker...

What skill do you have in your back pocket over there?
How are you using it to acquire what you want and need today?
(Just today.)

Think on it.

LEAD. Lovelies.  Lead.

--> Even Apple fails!  A 10 year old boy unlocked his mom's iPhone X using the Face recognition software.

--> I don't know how true or good this is for you. I am just reporting The Fourth Fuel is trending out there!  Scientists May Have Found A "Fourth Fuel" That Can Power Humans.  Me? I am personally afraid but I will be on the look out to see if any more (credible) info comes out!

--> I am so bored with my old meditation I may actually create a power one!  #notkidding But in the meantime, I have returned to Tony Robbins and have been doing his AM Priming.  It's pretty uplifting, I have to admit!  #imkindofobsessedwithhimrightnow

Quick side note from Ashleigh.  Here are my most favorite tools ever.

  • For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings.  My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
  • To focus during the day I love to focus@will.  They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does.  I blare the classical music.  I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
  • Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away.  She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money!  Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny.  Not. going. to. lie.
