"The best way to find out if you can
trust somebody is to trust them."
What is going RIGHT in your world? In your business?
Yep, that's the question. What's working? What's good? What's good for you?
The thing I keep repeating over and over and over again is how our businesses are evolving.
Women-owned businesses are evolving.
Women are creating businesses at a rate of 6x that greater than men today. This is really exciting times for us.
What's even more exciting is the evolution that's happening.
I can't even tell you excited it makes me and how many goosebumps I get when I see women calling BS on to what's happening in their world.
Here's an example. My friend Jess Rodriguez shut down her 15,000 (or maybe it was 20,000?) Facebook group because she didn't feel it was serving her or her people as she once felt. It was a weight. There was icky.
This came after Jill Stanton closed her 50k group. And then Melyssa Griffith closed hers. 90k.
It's a weird thing to celebrate. Closing down parts of your business, right?
But man, I applaud it.
It takes courage.
It take intention.
It takes focus.
It takes purpose.
Does your business rely on one thing? No.
Will your business fail because you shut down one part of it? No.
Will you be able to put more into what IS working? Yes.
Will you be able to growth what IS working? Yes.
Trust. Trust is essential. Drop the co-dependency and double down on what's working.
Quick side note from Ashleigh. Here are my most favorite tools ever.
- For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings. My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
- To focus during the day I love to focus@will. They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does. I blare the classical music. I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
- Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away. She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money! Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny. Not. going. to. lie.
