Woooo! End of July is near and here.

Where - my goodness - is the summer going?

The Power Squad Project

Lol!  It's true!.

They put their hands on their face in embarrassment for me when I start to dance too crazy for them.  Or when I try to sing in front of them.
It's super fun and will be my best weapon / punishment / devilish thing I do when theyare annoying teenagers!!

Let's get right to it...

Quick side note from Ashleigh.  Here are my most favorite tools ever.

  • For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings.  My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
  • To focus during the day I love to focus@will.  They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does.  I blare the classical music.  I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
  • Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away.  She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money!  Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny.  Not. going. to. lie.

--> Leadership and heroism is all around us.  Everyday and in so many ways.  The husband who works late for you.  The contractor that sends you research links, just because they thought you would enjoy / need / appreciate them.  The friend who tells you not to worry when you are embarrassed.  The other friend who shows up, even though they really really really don't want to.  The coach that pops on the line because you need it then.  The books you receive in the mail.   Leadership and heroism is all around you. The action you take make a difference.
Let me say this clearly.

Your thoughtful actions make the difference.
They will always make a difference.

--> Facebook, IG, Twitter OH MY!  I was talking with Joselyn, an owner from (awesome story I'll share coming up btw) and she said if you have a limited budget and want to work with influencers --> 1) Work with the minis.  2) Push those Twitter posts!  (Have any of you worked with Influencers to gain traction on your product?)

--> Speaking of Twitter... I literally hounded down (aka politely, in a non-creepy way stalked) Saira Perl a conference last Fall.  She's the queen of Twitter and I wanted to hear everything.  She crushes Twitter and teaches others how to use it.  (Set up a system and go.)

--> And speaking of Facebook.  I am prepping a longer blog post on this story but wanted to give you a fun insight beforehand.  One word is all you need.  LOCALIZE.

--> Speaking of giving ... Give thanks to the advancement of medical treatments.  Children with severe allergies have a treatment now.  There's a program where they are given minuscular amounts of the foods they are allergic to and they become not as allergic to them.  Avoid the anaphylactic shock, at least.   Many of you know my 5yo has severe allergies and --> hallelujah! < -- even though we are #615 on the over #1000+ waiting list we have an appointment!  December 31st @ 4pm!  #hallelujah #everydayheroes

--> You need to enjoy and celebrate the summer! What better than with the best ice cream sandwich ever?!

You've got this girl.
