“The true test of a man’s character is what he does when no one is watching.” John Wooden

Last week I tried a new killer cycling class and
then the lights went out.

Through the speakers the instructor says...

"It's completely dark.
No one can see you.
WHAT are you going to do?"

Oh man and that hit me as if Darth Vadar were revealing his opportunity
Or Chuck Bass was finally saying those 8 letters.

Then I returned to class and...
There's no doubt in my mind that 100% of the class used that moment to up their game.
To power up the false hill.
To sweat a little bit more.

To take the challenge, our internal challenge, and say "hell yeah!"

We did, we powered, we poured our sweat and hearts out.
And screamed at the end!

That moment has stayed with me as these hours go on.

When I need a little more oomph, a little more pep in my step.
I am going to close my eyes and ask myself.
"WHAT am I going to do?"

You should know...

--> This was interesting... The amount of money you make affects your happiness or so they say...
Gratitude is the answer...

--> My girls will be so sad with this business closing.

How others are managing...

--> Beat burnout. Gain control.

--> I was at a friend's house the other day for lunch and her personal chef told us about food you should eat during the day and at. what. time.
I have been obsessed about learning more details on this.
As far as I can tell... Carbs early on, Veggies later on.
Do any of you know about this?

Last but not least...

I have been honored to be on some really great podcasts as of recent

--> Listen to the Bosses & Booze podcast

--> Side Hustle Society

Quick side note from Ashleigh.  Here are my most favorite tools ever.

  • For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings.  My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
  • To focus during the day I love to focus@will.  They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does.  I blare the classical music.  I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
  • Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away.  She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money!  Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny.  Not. going. to. lie.
