“Up your nose with a rubber hose.” Vinnie Barbarino, “Welcome Back, Kotter”

The best conversation I had was with a man who started the conversation - literally - a stranger - starts out by saying...

"Living the dream!"

He woo'd and I sighed!

But I loved it.

He said he always starts the conversation that way to either

  1. reset his thinking or
  2. celebrate the thinking!

Kind of love that... don't you?!

Curious to know who said that and who I am meeting with?  If you ask, I will tell.  Reply back!

You should know...

--> Want to know which basket to put all your eggs in?  Amazon is committing $22 billion dollars to the grocery business and Whole Foods.  To me, that means there is plenty of opportunities to create businesses that support the grocery stores and organic food suppliers!  Think on it.  #organicfoodforthought

--> 2018 100 Richest Places to Live.  My hometown is #20.

How others are managing...

--> By pushing the limits of human performance.  "Can I have more ice, please?" is something I will never say!

--> I know a lot people.  Stuntmen and movie stars.  Reality stars and Amazon stars.  Well-to-do and well-who-are-you?  Jane is probably the solid ground expert that I will forever keep around.  Her sales expertise is 2nd to none and our Sunday feature.

--> "Bottom line: if you don't read, you can't lead." My friends are testing out what sounds to be an amazing book club for intentional leaders and frankly, it sounds amazing!  Last week you said you loved the 12-week-year and the ONE thing, I wonder what these girls will choose!

Thinking outside your box and bubble.

--> I love business.  And I love behind the scenes of businesses.
Maybe because that's how I grew up...  Life in my dad's office as he talked with vendors and clientele as I colored and listened in.

Yesterday, I talked with an honored famous and infamous inventor, a well-known marketer and developer of Apple's best apps and a Disney child star turned amazing hustler, a crusher of sales conversions and a business expert that you don't have to explain anything to - they just get it.

Here's what they are working on.  Think about it.  Add it, drive it, systemize it within your own business.
One person was a solid expert in a very specific field and he's crushing it.
The others - Real estate, investments, funding, licensing products, working studios, inventing new products, membership models, affiliate marketing, big brand and small brand partnerships.

Point is.  Get one part of your systemized then run to the part!

Quick side note from Ashleigh.  Here are my most favorite tools ever.

  • For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings.  My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
  • To focus during the day I love to focus@will.  They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does.  I blare the classical music.  I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
  • Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away.  She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money!  Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny.  Not. going. to. lie.
