Finish out the week and walk into the weekend knowing this.
There is a difference in the commitments you make.
"Yeah, we should get coffee sometime. I'll call you."
That, my dear, is a weak commitment. You know you'll never hear from them again.
That's why you are the one to always have make the plans.
Unless you're with me.
"Great, let me pull out my calendar. When do you want to have coffee?"
That's moving a weak commitment to a stronger commitment.
Then it's up to you to keep the strong commitment.
Are you the "If I say I will be there, I will be there" type person?
Or are you the "If I say I will be there, I will most likely be on time. Except with my kids, I am always on time with my kids."
It doesn't matter what kind of commitments you make. Weak, medium or strong.
But don't lie to yourself about it.
Make strong commitments to the things you care about most.
Aka show up and do the thing.
That's my food for thought these days.
That's what I am taking into the weekend.
Where do I want to show up?
What do I want this next stage to be?
Where do I care to spend my time?
What are the absolute most important things for me to make strong commitments to?
Think on it.
I know I am.

Quick side note from Ashleigh. Here are my most favorite tools ever.
- For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings. My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
- To focus during the day I love to focus@will. They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does. I blare the classical music. I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
- Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away. She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money! Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny. Not. going. to. lie.
