I could get in trouble for this.

"Power is not given to you.  You have to take it." Beyonce

(This Beyonce quote is on repeat right now for a reason.)

Woo! This week has been brutal!  And I am admittedly, behind.
I am writing this email at 10:30 PM while my husband watches some Tom Cruise drug movie in the background...

My baby girl has been sick all week.  And I mean SICK.
She's one of the many who have gotten the flu so big we are into Day 5 of being filled with high fever and consistent high pitched demands for "WATER!"

I am beyond exhausted and laugh at this is how the New Year is starting!
But I also am giving myself the grace to know that this is a moment in time and I am winning #motheroftheyear right as we speak!

That said, tonight I scrambled to pull interesting things my friends shared before our annual Slack Channel shutdown happens.
I am not sure I am supposed to share any of this.
I may get in trouble for it ... but really... these are too good to pass up!

Will you respond and share with me what and who you are following these days?

Lead Ladies Lead.

Quick side note from Ashleigh.  Here are my most favorite tools ever.

  • For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings.  My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
  • To focus during the day I love to focus@will.  They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does.  I blare the classical music.  I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
  • Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away.  She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money!  Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny.  Not. going. to. lie.
