Rihanna's Fenty Beauty - a line of 40 shades of makeup - won Invention of the Year by Time Magazine.
Why is this important? How does this impact you?
Why is this something you should think of? And consider?
It’s a worthwhile question.
It’s the exact reason I hate the nude bra. (More on that later.)
40 shades of foundation, so every woman has an opportunity to look and feel their best when wearing makeup. Their skin tone is theirs shining through!
40 shades so everyone is included and included on a very personal level.
They say we are "over" the digital world but what they mean is we’re over the impersonal.
Traditional business practices are the new trends.
That means more YESes to real relationships. More personalized experiences.
More thought and intention.
Instead of hitting up the masses focus on hooking up your people.
Rihanna won invention of the year because she hooked up and helped out her people.
It’s as simple as that and as important too.

--> Did you have a Black Friday sale? Amazon claimed between 45%-50% of all online Black Friday sales. To me, that's insane. Do you remember when Amazon was "just" a bookstore? Jeff Bezos has said he always knew it was going to be more than that but he had to master the service before expanding as he has!
AKA one step at a time.
Oh yeah and he just became the first $100 Billionaire.

--> Here's a quick & impressive 4-minute video on "How to sell anything!" Mike Kelly from Member Vault shared this gem, and I just had to pass it one! https://youtu.be/ueFUfUuaT3c
--> Never say never. Time Inc. just agreed to be sold to its rival publisher Meredith.
--> This was worth repeating... "True self-care is not salt baths and chocolate cake, it is making the choice to not build a life you don’t need to regularly escape from." Woa! Let's repeat - "choice not to build a life you don't need to regularly escape from!"
LAST BUT NOT LEAST.
--> For the month of December I am going to start doing regular 5-minute jam sessions on Facebook Live. So many of us get overwhelmed with everything we have to do, we forget about the things we want to do or need to do (hello self-care!). I am *always* asked how do I "do it all" - business, kids, family while also keeping my cool and confidence. Now's a perfect time we can have those discussions... So If you haven't already like our Facebook page come join me in these convos!
Quick side note from Ashleigh. Here are my most favorite tools ever.
- For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings. My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
- To focus during the day I love to focus@will. They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does. I blare the classical music. I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
- Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away. She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money! Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny. Not. going. to. lie.
