The girls tennis coach was telling us today how he watches every game on tv.
He told us, no, he SHOWED us how the professional stand and wait for the ball.
Here. Not here. He showed us.
Check. Check. Check.
I watch every move.
That's the girl's tennis coach.
As he told us the story, I realized, this is precisely who I want to work with.
Aside from being nice, the girls like him, they learn well from him ... but if we are going to invest time, money and energy, we want to work with the guy who is obsessed with his field.
He loves to watch, learn and grow. Anything tennis, he's interested.
He's an expert and he's still trying to learn.
That's who I want to work with.
I was at lunch this week with a podcast host who is obsessed with reality tv. She's amazing. I personally hate reality tv aside from the occasional binge watch.
But she loves it.
She loves the stories behind the stories. LOVES them.
She said to me she loves the personal stories like I love the business stories.
I am obsessed with business stories. There's personal stories and business strategies behind all of it.
I love it.
All three of us are obsessed.
And I think that's what makes us good.
Are you obsessed with what you do? Or how can you BUILD what you're obsessed with into your work?
Don't know? Reply back and in a 10 minute call I can tell you.
Point is - follow your obsession ladies.
LEAD. Lovelies. Lead.

Quick side note from Ashleigh. Here are my most favorite tools ever.
- For audio motivation - Relentless by Tim Grover. I listen to him as I was in the mornings. My walk always becomes a power walk after listening.
- To focus during the day I love to focus@will. They say music helps you focus and for me it surely does. I blare the classical music. I am not sure how many people my age choose that over techno but either way I love it.
- Rosemarie Groner (from the Busy Budgeter) is a friend and I just LOVE how much she gives everything away. She tells you and anyone she can her detailed way to making money! Start with her Pinterest Strategy Guide that is worth every penny. Not. going. to. lie
--> Sales is always a need, question and concern when you are in business. It's the number one question I am asked - "How do you get customers". I was intrigued by this post when they shared it's The Most Overlooked Sales Technique in the World. Cliff notes version: Before jumping to say YES do do provide that service, tell your prospect they have great question and then ask them WHY they asked for that specific.
--> If you have a Facebook Group organizational TAGS are on their way! Facebook is currently testing them out and hopefully will be released sooner than later!! Woo!
--> Give thanks. The little girl who was hit by 105 MPH foul ball at a baseball game is going to be okay. PHEW!
